The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. The scenic beauty of Arkansas and the water flowing gracefully down Mormon Creek make the trip here worthwhile. Not too many hotels     nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are no other stretches to paddle along Mormon Creek than the Headwaters to Mill Creek stretch. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is a bit of a short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places.
