The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There's camping available near Mulberry River. Briefly about the general area: For the period of the warmest time of the year at Mulberry River highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows at Mulberry River during the
winter ordinarily drop into the 20's. Mulberry River typically gets a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest month of the year is January. The Spy Rock Redding Loop is a fine hiking trail close to Mulberry River.
