Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is wonderful. The average Arkansas whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so better not forget     that many runs in this state are very easy. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. The USFS Dragover stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beautiful scenery of Arkansas and the water flowing gracefully down Ouachita River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
