Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other spots for that. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. When you're paddling down a Boston Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.
