The County Road 76 to County Road 2434 section of Spirits Creek is 4 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Arkansas and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better
reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The County Road 76 to County Road 2434 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Spirits Creek. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. The river
winds through the Boston Mountains and you get great scenery. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding.
