The scenic beauty of Arkansas and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers, as you can see on the road map further down. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There's camping available near White River - Middle Fork. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. river system. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. The Arnett to Hicks section of White River

Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here.
