The natural beauty of Madison County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. This stretch of White River - Middle Fork in Madison County is 1.75 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American     Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. The Arnett to Hicks section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came.
