The starting location is a reasonable drive from Truckee-Grass Valley, as you can see on the road map further down. difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
