And of course,     there are campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The Willowcreek Bridge to Arroyo Seco Picnic Area stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The beauty of the Santa Lucia Range is a great plus for this river. Briefly about the general area: Why not take a refreshing hike along the Horse Pasture Trail, and do take a hike on the Marble   Peak Trail. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Santa Lucia Range has it all.
