The Close to Ponderosa Way to Manton Road stretch of Battle Creek - South Fork in California is 11.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-V(V+) section. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.
