The beautiful scenery of California and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beautiful Klamath Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit     to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. This stretch of Beegum Creek in California is 7 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V(V+) section of whitewater. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This is the only paddling stretch along Beegum Creek. Briefly about the general area: An average amount of rainfall falls at Beegum Creek; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Klamath Mountains. Hiking along the Bluford Trail is nice fun. For the   duration of the warm days of summer here at Beegum Creek, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Beegum Creek temperatures descend to the 30's. Bear Gulch is a wonderful spot to explore nearby, and a spree to Walker Point is always a glorious idea.
