California whitewater - Big Creek Kings River Tributary, Central Sierra Nevada, Fresno County

Fresno county, Trimmer Springs Road to Kings River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS III-IV     1 miles
The average California whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. When you're paddling down a Central Sierra Nevada river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. The nature scenery of Fresno County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. A bit of exercise and spending some quality
time in nature will make you glad you came. This is an extremely short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. There are campgrounds quite near
the river where you can camp. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Trimmer Springs Road to Kings River section of Big Creek Kings River Tributary in Fresno County is 1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section.
