This stretch of Brush Creek in tulare County is 1.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V section of whitewater. This is the only paddling section along Brush Creek. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The natural
beauty of tulare County and the water flowing gracefully down Brush Creek attract people from near and far. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. Whitewater paddling here in the Southern Sierra Nevada is a great experience. The sections for whitewater rafting
and kayaking here in California are often more challenging than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
