If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camp stove too. The Highway 20 to Bear Creek Confluence stretch is one of a few paddling stretches
in this river system. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. The starting point is not too far from Clearlake, as you can see on the road map further down. The natural beauty of Lake / Yolo County and the sparkling of
the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. There's camping available near Cache Creek.

Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the
