The nature scenery of Yolo County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you're coming from Napa it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers     here more demanding, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The campgrounds here at Cache Creek are pretty good. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too.
