You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for
that around here. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not
from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. The Upper Bridge to Lower Bridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The beautiful Central Sierra Nevada scenery is an added bonus. The scenic beauty of Tuolumne County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
