The natural beauty of California and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. This section of Clear Creek Sacramento Tributary in California is 8 miles long and has been rated as a class IV section by American Whitewater. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do     book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
