Whitewater rafting and kayaking in California is often tougher than elsewhere, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. The scenic beauty of California and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Coffee Creek Road to Trinity River stretch is the only paddling stretch along Coffee Creek. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking,     either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your camping stuff too. The wild scenery of the Klamath Mountains is great. The warmest time of the year at Coffee Creek comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
