Dinkey Dome to Dinkey Campgrounds section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS V 3.5 miles
If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. This section is quite short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Dinkey Dome to Dinkey Campgrounds section is just one of many. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're
all set. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The wild scenery of the Central Sierra Nevada is great. The nature scenery of California and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons
enough to come here to paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good spots for that around here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Dinkey Dome to Dinkey Campgrounds stretch of Dinkey Creek is 3.5 miles long and it is classified as a class V section by American Whitewater.
