Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. This stretch of Eel River - North Fork in California is 12 miles long and it is classified as a class IV section by American Whitewater. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camp stove.     The Salt Creek to Hulls Creek stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. The beauty of the Coast Ranges is a great plus for this river. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came.
