On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The river
winds through the Northern Sierra Nevada and you get great scenery. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
