Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Sierra Nevada is a great experience. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either     way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
