The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. The nature scenery of California and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.
