If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The natural beauty of Plumas County     and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. The beauty of the Northern Sierra Nevada is a great plus for this river. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too.
