The wonderful California scenery and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. are not easy. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camping stuff. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The campgrounds here at Hayfork Creek are pretty good. Whitewater paddling here in the
Klamath Mountains is a great experience. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
