The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The scenic beauty of Tulare County
and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip.
