  This section of Kings River - Middle Fork is 29 miles long and it is classified as a class V+ section by American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Fresno County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but
    do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beautiful Central Sierra Nevada scenery is an added bonus. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your sleeping bag.
Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well.
