The Above Wishon Reservoir stretch of Kings River - Middle Fork in California is 6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V section. The scenic beauty of Fresno County and the water flowing gracefully down Kings River - Middle Fork attract people from near and far. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The beauty
    of the Central Sierra Nevada is a great plus for this river. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might
end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots.
