The Park Boundary to Boyden Cave stretch of Kings River - South Fork is 7.8 miles long and is a class IV-V(V+) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are many good hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good spots for that around here. This stretch has has enough mileage,     it's good length for a morning trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beautiful scenery of California and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Park Boundary to Boyden Cave stretch is one of them. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners.
