The I-15 to I-5 section of Los Penasquitos Creek in California is 9 miles long     and it is classified as a class III+(V+) section by American Whitewater. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Los Penasquitos Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the I-15 to I-5 section is the only one. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good rivers for that around here.
