This section of Mill Creek in California is 6 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. The beautiful Central Sierra Nevada scenery is an added bonus. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This is one of a small number
| of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in California are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.
