Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. The Below Tiger Creek to Red Corral Road stretch of Mokelumne River - North Fork in Amador/ Calaveras County is 3 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours
