No need to look hard for hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The St. Helena to Napa stretch is the only paddling stretch along Napa River. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Napa River typically tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Napa River. Napa River mostly gets much rainfall; January is the wettest month with most   rain, and July is when it's the driest. During your journey to Napa River you'll meet some folks from Napa for sure, and the Yountville Hills towers over Napa River.
