Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other     rivers. There are no other stretches to paddle along Noyo River than the Northspur to Fort Bragg stretch. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. This stretch of Noyo River is 20 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. When you're paddling down a Coast Ranges river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Noyo River; most of the rain falls through January, and   the driest of the months is July. Low Gap is a tremendous place to spend some time at. Summertime highs at Noyo River typically tend to be in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Noyo River.
