The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in California are often more challenging than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. The campgrounds here at Pit River are pretty good. The beautiful
