  The Fall River Mills Bridge to Route 299 Bridge section of Pit River in California is 10 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Shasta County and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. available near Pit River. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

Pit River is a good place of typical rainfall; most of the snow falls through December, and July is when it's the driest. The Saddle is in the vicinity of Pit River and is a good site It's always brilliant to pop by Pit River Falls.

Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pit River.
