This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others
too. If you're coming from Ukiah it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. When you're paddling down a Coast Ranges river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.
This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. There's camping available near Rancheria Creek. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
