The Canyon Entrance Close to Meamber Creek to Klamath Confluence stretch of Scott River in Siskiyou County is 22 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-V section. The scenic beauty of California and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average,
so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The wild scenery of the Klamath Mountains is great. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Scott River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the

There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
