The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Crescent City North, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
