You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The wonderful California scenery and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're
willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The river winds through the Central Sierra Nevada and you get great scenery. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states,
so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Trimmer Springs Road to Kings River section is one of them. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling spots.
