Briefly about the general area: The high level of rainfall makes Trinity River a pretty wet place; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Jones Point   is not far from Trinity River at all. Through the warm days of summer at Trinity River highs are regularly in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 50's; night lows during the winter for Trinity River tend to be in the 30's.
