The nature scenery of California and the water flowing gracefully down Trinity River - North Fork are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater paddling here in the Klamath Mountains is a great experience. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater
    rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camp stove. Great exercise and a chance
to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving.
