  The wonderful Trinity County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The Hobo Gulch to Bridge 1 mile above mouth section of Trinity River - North Fork in California is 14 miles long and is a class IV-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. The river winds through the Klamath Mountains
    and you get great scenery. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camp stove. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here
are less forgiving. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The campgrounds here at Trinity River - North Fork are pretty good. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
