Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in California tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. You might
have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This river system has a few good paddling stretches
and the Tioga Road Bridge to Hetch Hetchy Reservoir section is one of them. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The beautiful Central Sierra Nevada scenery is an added bonus.

in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Tuolumne River tend to be in the 20's. There are glorious sites to look at along the Ten Lakes Trail. Tuolumne River is a reasonably wet place frequently with a large amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is frequently the driest month.
