down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
Briefly about the general area: A short journey to Silver Falls is always worthwhile; magnificent hiking is available along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail. West Walker River gets very
little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. All through the summertime highs here at West Walker River get into the 80's. When the night
sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at West Walker River are in the 20's.
