The wild scenery of the Central Sierra Nevada is great. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.
This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This
is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. The wonderful California scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Willow Creek will make you feel great. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
