The Tioga Pass Road to Yosemite Falls stretch of Yosemite Creek is 8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. The beautiful scenery of California and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. The Tioga Pass Road to Yosemite Falls section is the only paddling section along Yosemite Creek. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this
is an area with plenty of spots for that. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers
here are not for beginners. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is wonderful. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more.

the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Yosemite Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Yosemite Creek; Hetch Hetchy Trail is a good local trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Dome Trail.
