The nature scenery of California and the playfulness of the water are     in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. The campgrounds here at Yuba River - North Fork are pretty good. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The wild scenery of the Northern Sierra Nevada is great.
