Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in California tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. The wonderful California scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Yuba River - South Fork make the     trip here worthwhile. The wild scenery of the Northern Sierra Nevada is great.
