The wonderful Nevada County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Yuba City-Marysville, as you can see on the road map further down. The average California whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the     rivers in this state are less manageable. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. There's camping available near Yuba River - South Fork. The wild scenery of the Northern Sierra Nevada is great.
