The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Colorado are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that many runs in this state are not easy. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
