The nature scenery of Summit/ Grand County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming
from far and near. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Green Mountain Reservoir to Spring Creek Road section is one of them. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill
up quick. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Park Range is a great experience. The average Colorado whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
