Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Colorado is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The Front Range scenery is wonderful. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping     in your car. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
